YSL.
[2013.]
Yves Saint Laurent's new designer, Hedi Slimane, debuted the new women's collection for the fashion house. Hedi Slimane previously worked for Dior Homme from 2000 to 2007 and before that he designed menswear for YSL. His latest collection blends together goth, punk rock and boho, as shown in slim tuxedos, long-sleeve gothic dresses and boho-chic suede, floppy hats.
The launch ofthe collection on the runway, was explaind as spectaculr by Vogue, as it began with immersue ovrtune of noise and visual sensations. The ceiling beganto split and tip black panels opening echaically while rotating lighting rigs lowered into place, and as it continued mny reviews said how the show amended to a surprisingly respectful rebooting of everyting YSL did for the hippie rock chicks in the 70's.
Although a more darker yet soberatmosphere of SL's original hgh fashion of free love and liberaion, Silmane's impressed with precise shoulders, floppy scarf bow ties ad white ruffle blouses.
[spring collection]
when I looed into the 2013 campaigns for YSL, i was faced with an ovrload of black and white images on my screen, which all featured outstanding sets, all which were very eyecatching yet rawal with use of building, walls and chairs, all which i found very ispirational for my upcoming shoot based on YSL's collection i spoke about.
